The Men’s Spring Knitting Retreat 2010 is coming up in May and there are 2 things I want to focus on, or rather, FINISH for SHOW and TELL!!
Thankfully, there are no knitting emergencies or deadlines in the way. (Well, this could be a good or a bad thing….. bad because I would like some publication work this year too….)
But if you’re smart enough, you’d probably already figure out what they are. But if you want to just go with the flow and figure it out later, here they are. One is a beautiful monochromatic fair isle and the other is an item knitted with sock yarn.
Gosh, I sometimes wish I had a better camera to just get the essence of the fabric.

That fair isle is gorgeous. Can’t wait to see what it is.
How you have the patience is beyond me. I’m busy whipping out baby items on needles from a three to a seven. Anything tougher than that far surpasses my current ability to concentrate. The fair isle is beautiful. Go for it!
You are one great knitter! It’s so fine….sure you don’t use a machine?! Kidding.
Oh yes lovely simple (or simply lovely) contrast with the choice of colors for the Fair Isle. I too am eager to see what it is!
The purple and grey sock yarn looks like a backgammon board, cool!! What is this going to grow up to be?
