Pittsburgh Stitch n’ Bitch

This blog entry comes to you from Pittsburgh, PA. I am currently here for work. I’ve been stalking the Pittsburgh Stitch n’ Bitch in the Monroeville area since my last 2 visits here. Cheryl from Out of The Box …. A Credit to My Hair Color has been trying to get me to attend it the last 2 times I was here

This is now my 3rd time here and I finally summoned up the courage to go attend it. Here are some pictures.

I had a blast!!

I thought I was going to be really uncomfortable. In Houston, I felt uncomfortable knitting at my LYS. However it was really good. The women were really nice and welcoming.

Martha gave me some advice on selvedge stithces. She also gave me a couple of book recommendations. Thank you Martha.

Jill was a sweet heart. She finished a little baby bonnet thingy that she designed and it was totally cute.

Cheryl was a hoot. I love her boistrous character. I’m glad you made me attend!

I met a couple of other women and they were really nice too, Heather, Sandy, Carla and Teresa.

I will definitely knit with the Pittsburgh Stitch n’ Bitch again when I come to Pittsburgh!
